West Property Company has dismissed reports that suggest that musician Jah Prayzah and Star FM Disc Jockey Kudzai Violet Gwara better known as KVG had received stands or properties from the company on an outdated leasehold title.
In our previous article, we reported that one Dr Controlla Gabi had suggested that the company was selling its plushy Pokugara Estate houses using an outdated concept which is being phased out in the United Kingdom.
Gabi said Pokugara Properties was using a “Leasehold” arrangement, which means that when one buys a property, the ownership of the land remains in the hands of the seller and attracts monthly rentals. West Property speaks in response to that article. See below.

In its statement, West Property said:
It has come to our attention that Zimeye Online Publication and News Pindula Publication published stories on the 13th July 2021 wherein they commented that Jah Prayzah and KVG had received stands or properties from us on an outdated leasehold title. We hereby refute such malicious and untrue allegations. We categorically state that both Jah Prayzah and KVG purchased their properties on freehold title and their title deeds will be transferred to them in due course. The article is thus misleading to our valued customers and is meant to tarnish our brand. We reassure our customers and all other stakeholders that their interests remain our priority and they should check the facts with ourselves before making any assumptions or decisions.
Be accordingly advised.
