Dynamos To Face Strugglers Triangle Or TelOne In “Easy” Chibuku Super Cup Draw

Chibuku Super Cup holders Dynamos will face either Triangle or TelOne, two struggling sides, in the 2026 edition of the competition.

The draw for this year’s edition was held in Harare on Tuesday, 4 August, with former champions FC Platinum drawn against 2025 Castle Lager Premier Soccer League champions Scottland.

Giants CAPS United will face Simba Bhora, while Highlanders and Chicken Inn clash in the Bulawayo derby.

DeMbare, the record winners after lifting the last three editions of the knockout tournament, are the team to beat this year.

Triangle and TelOne are among the four teams that have started in the preliminary round today.

Manica Diamonds and Agama are also facing each other in the preliminary round, with the winner set to play MWOS.

First round matches will be played over the weekend of 15-16 August.

The quarter-finals are scheduled for 12-13 September, with the semi-finals set for 31 October to 1 November.

The Chibuku Super Cup final will be played on 28 November, with the winners pocketing US$75,000.
