MDC Alliance leader Nelson Chamisa has laughed at President Emmerson Mnangagwa (ED)’s insinuations that he was secretly vaccinated against COVID-19 at a certain embassy in Harare and said he doesn’t scheme and plot and he is not mischievous The Standard reports.
President Mnangagwa last week while speaking at the launch of the second phase of the COVID-19 vaccination program in Victoria Falls said certain opposition leaders were reportedly vaccinated at a certain Western Embassy in Harare without further explaining his cryptic message.
During an interview with The Standard Chamisa was asked if he was vaccinated at a certain Western Embassy in Harare and he laughed at the insinuation and said he is not a mischievous person:
They just think that I have this incredible capacity to be mischievous. They always think I am always scheming and plotting. I actually plan, I don’t scheme, I actually plan, and not plot.
Chamisa also took the time to address the politics of hate in Zimbabwe and said:
There is too much hate in our politics. There must be no hate. People must unite and we need a proper change of heart and mind in people with access to public offices so that we don’t exhibit cruelty, violence, harm or anything like that.
What advances societies is not the cannibalisation of the genuine and well-meaning, but their emulation. Instead of appreciating better ideas, they want to destroy that better idea. You will not get better by destroying those better than you
This comes after Victor Matemadanda who up until last week was the Zanu PF Political commissar, boldly declared that they were not going to surrender this country to anyone. Zanu PF Director for Information Tafadzwa Mugwadi last month also boldly declared that the ruling party is indeed trying to create a one-party state.
