139 People Hospitalised Due To COVID
The Ministry of Health and Child Care has stated that 139 people are hospitalised due to COVID-19. This was contained in an update that stated that 20 returnees from South Africa tested positive for COVID-19 and only 76 frontline workers were vaccinated yesterday.
Updating the nation on the issue of COVID-19 hospitalisations the ministry of health stated that:
As of 12 March @1500hrs, there were 139 hospitalised cases. Assymptomatic 81, mild to moderate 42, severe 14 and 2 in intensive care units.
FeedbackFor the past 7 days, hospitalisation due to COVID-19 has remained south of 120 hospitalizations per day as reported by the ministry of health. Recoveries have also gone down as the country for the last 8 days recorded less than 240 recoveries. Vaccinations have also slowed down over the last few days with the country vaccination less than 1000 people in 5 days.
Meanwhile more donated vaccines from China will be delivered in the country this week according to the Chinese Ambassador.
