More Donated Vaccines From China Expected Next Week

200 000 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine are expected in the country next week, The Herald reports. The vaccines which are another donation to Zimbabwe from China will be delivered to Harare on a yet to be announced date sometime next week.

This was revealed by the Chinese Ambassador to Zimbabwe Mr Guo Shaochun who was speaking during a virtual ceremony of handing over reproductive health equipment to the Government when he said:

There are more opportunities for vaccine collaboration between China and Zimbabwe despite the enormous requirement of Covid-19 vaccines across the world.

The next batch of 200 000 doses of the Sinopharm vaccine donated by China is coming very soon, we expect it to arrive by mid-month (March). Zimbabwe Government will also bring part of its procurement from China as well.

Ambassador Guo also took the time to reiterate that the vaccines donated in China are safe when he said:

Latest Tecno Pop 8 - now available in Pindula.

$94, Cash on Delivery in Harare & Bulawayo.

WhatsApp: 0783 450 793

I would like to reiterate that all Chinese vaccines, no matter if they are Sinopharm or Sinovac are very safe. So far there are nearly 60 million people who have received the vaccination using the Chinese vaccines. Since the development of the Chinese vaccines a lot has been done and we have full confidence in these vaccines, and there will be more successful vaccine cooperation between the two countries.

Meanwhile, Zimbabwe has vaccinated 36000 frontline workers only since the vaccine was delivered to Zimbabwe close to a month ago.
