'I Have Endorsed Marvelous Nakamba's Girlfriend. I Like Her' - Nakamba's Mother

In an interview with the Sunday Mail, the mother of Zimbabwe’s highest earning footballer said she had endorsed the player’s fiancee for marriage. Nakamba’s mother, Charity Ngwenya, said that the girlfriend, named Chipo, is a good girl and that she likes her.

Said Nakamba’s mother:

As the mother, I also want him to marry wisely, right now he has a fiancée, Chipo. They grew up together in Mpopoma. A very humble girl, she is the one I have endorsed.

They went to the same High School at Njube. I knew they were onto something as she would regularly visit us when we were staying in Mpopoma and I liked her.

Nakamba, who is reported to earn about US $71,000 a week, has become one of the highest earning Zimbabweans in any career since he was signed up by English premier club, Aston Villa.
