President Emmerson Mnangagwa today received letters of credence from new ambassadors of the United Kingdom and Ireland, Spain and Rwanda at State House.
Rwanda’s newly appointed ambassador to Zimbabwe, James Musoni, is a former minister of infrastructure, local government, finance and economic development, commerce, industry, tourism, cooperatives and a former commissioner general of the Rwanda Revenue Authority. He becomes the first-ever ambassador from Rwanda.
The new United Kingdom and Ireland’s ambassador, Melanie Robinson replaces Catriona Lang.
The New Spanish ambassador to Zimbabwe Santiago HomezAcebo also presented his credentials to the President at today’s ceremony.
Lol, there is no such a thing as the Ambassador of the United Kingdom and Ireland. Ireland fought a war of Independence in the 1920s and Britain still occupies a small portion of Ireland.
You mean the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. Not the United Kingdom and Ireland. No such place exists. I am Irish. We fought a war of Independence against Britain commencing in 1919 and got independence in 1922.
