The City of Harare says water distribution has been restored following the completion of urgent repair works at its two major water facilities.
Acting Town Clerk Advocate Warren Chiwawa on Monday morning, 24 August 2026, advised residents and stakeholders that works had been completed after a partial shutdown at Morton Jaffray Water Works and a total shutdown of Warren Control Pump Station between Friday morning and Sunday evening.
The shutdowns were to allow for urgent repair of leaks and reservoir cleaning at both facilities.
