Chivayo Gifts Lexus GX550, US$50,000 To Walter Magaya Jr

Wicknell Chivayo has gifted a brand new 2026 Lexus GX550 and US$50,000 in cash to Walter Magaya Jr, the son of Harare-based preacher Walter Magaya.

Magaya is the founder of Prophetic Healing and Deliverance Ministries (PHD Ministries), established in 2012 and headquartered in Waterfalls, Harare.

In recent years, he has been mentoring his son in ministry, with the younger Magaya occasionally preaching at the church.

Explaining the gesture, Chivayo said he was impressed by the young man’s discipline and commitment to preaching the Gospel, at a time when many youths are drawn to distractions such as drugs and substance abuse.

“I was VERY IMPRESSED by how you carried yourself during the crossover night from 31 December 2025 into the new year, standing in for your father PROPHET WALTER MAGAYA,” wrote Chivayo in a social media post on Wednesday morning.

“Your calm CONFIDENCE and the clarity in your message of RENEWED HOPE in CHRIST was packed with meaning and DEEP REVELATION. You may be young in AGE, but certainly very MATURED in the spirit.

“Your IMPACT has also gone beyond Zimbabwe, with believers in different countries that you have travelled to receiving you in their THOUSANDS.

“From the way people gather and FOLLOW your teachings, it is evident that what started with your FATHER is finding its way through you!

“That kind of continuity is not common, and it speaks volumes about the foundation and MENTORSHIP imparted by Prophet Magaya unto you at PHD Ministries.”

Chivayo said Walter Magaya Jr’s vehicle will be ready for collection on Friday at Exquisite Car Dealership.

“I say a BIG CONGRATULATIONS to you, our young MAN OF GOD. Please go and see Victor on Friday at Exquisite Car Dealership and collect your brand new 2026 LEXUS GX550 fully paid for and ready for COLLECTION,” said Chivayo.

“In addition, you will receive US$50,000 as a small but SINCERE token to support the CHURCH’S work and the continued growth of PHD Ministries.”
