An area manager at Farm & City Private Limited, Justine Ngoshi (39), appeared in Harare Magistrates’ Court last Friday, charged with theft after allegedly diverting company funds of US$10,200 to betting.
Ngoshi was arraigned before provincial magistrate Michael Mafukidze and remanded in custody pending a full bail hearing.
The prosecution alleges that between 31 July 2025 and 28 February 2026, Ngoshi collected US$10,200 intended to pay rent for the Belgravia Farm & City shop.
The money was due to be handed to Sawyer and Mkushi Legal Practitioners, but it is claimed he instead spent it on the online betting game Aviator.
The total amount misappropriated is said to be US$10,200, and none of the funds has been recovered.
