Zimbabwe striker Macauley Bonne has parted ways with English non-league club Maldon & Tiptree just days after returning from the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Morocco.
Bonne featured for Zimbabwe in all three of their group games at AFCON, including a start against Angola.
The 30-year-old joined Maldon & Tiptree in October 2025, dropping three levels in the English football pyramid after playing in the National League for Southend United last season.
During his brief spell with The Jammers, Bonne scored three goals in nine appearances, helping the team maintain a two-point lead at the top of the Isthmian League North Division.
Bonne has previously played for Leyton Orient, Charlton Athletic, Ipswich Town, Queens Park Rangers, and Gillingham.
