Teacher Killed As Husband Accidentally Knocks Down Pillar While Reversing

A teacher at Chaedza Primary School in Chinhoyi was killed on Tuesday after being crushed by a pillar that was accidentally knocked down by her husband as he reversed his car.

The incident happened at the couple’s home in Chinhoyi’s Riverside suburb. The woman, identified as Mrs Mazvazva, died at the scene.

Mashonaland West provincial police spokesperson Inspector Ian Kohwera confirmed the incident to The Herald and said investigations were underway.
