Five Members Of Same Family Killed In Guruve

Five members of the same family from Ona Mapeto Farm in Ward 21, Guruve, were brutally murdered on Sunday night.

The victims included a 66-year-old mother, her 40-year-old son, a 37-year-old daughter, and two grandchildren aged five and two. All sustained fatal stab wounds at their homestead.

Neighbours who heard screams rushed to the scene and found the son still alive. He was taken to the hospital but later died from his injuries.

The motive for the attack remains unknown. Since October, 14 people have been killed in separate incidents in the Guruve area.
