Simba Bhora Football Club and head coach Joel Luphahla have mutually agreed to part ways, with the separation set to take effect on 31 December 2025.
Simba Bhora won the 2024 Castle Lager Premier Soccer League (PSL) season under then head coach Tonderayi Ndiraya, but Luphahla was unable to secure the league title, with the club finishing third behind champions Scottland FC and runners-up MWOS FC.
The former Warriors winger, popularly nicknamed “Dubai,” also fell short in the CAF Champions League, as Simba Bhora were eliminated by Eswatini’s Nsingizini Hotspurs in the first preliminary round.
The club confirmed Luphahla’s departure in a statement issued on Tuesday, 2 December. It reads:
“Simba Bhora Football Club and the Head Coach, Joel Luphahla, have reached a consensus and agreed to mutually part ways effective 31 December 2025.
