The Zimbabwe School Examinations Council (ZIMSEC) has assured candidates, parents, guardians, and the public that the November 2025 examinations are proceeding as planned, with their integrity fully maintained.
In a statement released on Tuesday, 11 November, ZIMSEC said that no question papers for the November 2025 session have been leaked. The statement reads:
“Our multi-layered security protocols, governing the process from question paper setting to distribution and to the writing of the examinations, have been strictly adhered to and have proven effective.
“Any administrative and/or logistical problems are dealt with according to the standard operating procedures that are in place.
“We are pleased to report that the examination session has progressed very well so far.
“Candidate attendance has been high, and the conduct in examination centres nationwide has been commendably orderly. We applaud the candidates for their focus and discipline.
“We also extend our sincere gratitude to the heads of centres, invigilators, and security personnel for their unwavering dedication and professionalism in upholding the sanctity of the examinations.”
ZIMSEC said it takes any form of exam cheating very seriously and has put systems in place to catch and investigate any irregularities. Anyone found trying to compromise the exams will face serious legal and administrative consequences.
The Council also stressed that it is fully committed to keeping Zimbabwe’s exams fair, secure, and credible, and will continue to keep a close eye on the entire process until it’s finished.
