Two Killed, Two Injured In Masvingo-Mbalabala Road Head-On Collision

Two people died and two others were injured in a fatal head-on collision along the Masvingo-Mbalabala Road on Sunday night, police have confirmed.

According to the Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP), the accident occurred at the 130-kilometre peg at approximately 8:20 PM on August 3, 2025. The crash involved a Volvo truck carrying two passengers and a Toyota LiteAce with one passenger on board.

The ZRP reported that the vehicles collided head-on, resulting in the deaths of two people on the spot.

The deceased were taken to Zvishavane District Hospital mortuary for post-mortem examinations, while the injured victims were admitted to Mberengwa Hospital for treatment.
