Robert Lewandowski last night scored a brace against Pitso Mosimane’s Al Ahly helping Bayern Munich reach the Club World Cup finals.
The semi-final match was played at Al Rayyan Football Stadium in Qatar and now Al Ahly will switch their focus to a third-place spot.
Robert Lewandowski scored in the 17′ and the 85′ minutes.
The German giants Bayern Munich are into the final and will face Mexican side Tigres for the title while the African Champions League winners Al Ahly will take on Palmeiras of Brazil in the third-place playoff.
The last time the Uefa Champions League holders lifted the Club World Cup title was in 2013 when they beat Raja Casablanca of Morocco in the final.
