WATCH: I Fought For This Country, Leave Me Alone – Minister Gwaradzimba On Farm Invasion Probe

Manicaland Provincial Affairs Minister Ellen Gwaradzimba who is accused of grabbing a part of a Chipinge farm Farfell Coffee Estates and gifting it to her son is seen in the following video seemingly defending her actions and saying the media made a huge deal out of it but she did nothing wrong because the late lands minister Perrance Shiri gave her permission to invade the farm.

Gwaradzimba is heard saying the person probing( Parliamentary Committee led by Justice Wadyajena) her should leave her alone and she made reference numerous times to the fact that she was part of the liberators that liberated this country from colonialists.

The video was shared by Dewa Mavhinga on Twitter and he captioned it:

Zimbabwe minister Gwaradzimba says MPs investigating her involvement in farm invasions should leave her alone. She is a war veteran who fought for the freedom of the MPs now bothering her over land issues.

  1. Yawn! I see the “Liberation” bit being bandied about… Again! A war that ended 40 years ago, and this is supposed to make her some sort of super-hero! None of those who fought Nazi Germany were ever this entitled… This is pure, unadulterated greed and nothing else.
