South Africa COVID-19 Cases Jump to 34 357

South Africa’s COVID-19 cases have risen to 34357 while the country today recorded 22 new deaths bringing the total of deaths due to COVID-19 to 709 SABC News reports. However, 16 000+ people have recovered from the disease and there are just above 16 000 active cases in South Africa right now.

On another note, the country also delayed and postponed re-opening schools citing a lack of preparedness in some parts of the country.
