Mwonzora Probes Ziyambi About The Abduction Of MDC Alliance Activists In Senate

Yesterday in Senate, Douglas Mwonzora who is a Senator under the MDC Alliance card yesterday probed Ziyambi about the alleged abduction of 3 MDC Alliance members who were abducted and tortured last week, New Zimbabwe reports.

Mwonzora during the question and answer session reportedly asked the leader of the house Ziyambi Ziyambi and said:

On the abduction and torture of three girls including an MP Joanna Mamombe at the hands State agents last week, what has government done about the incident? What is the government doing to make sure this does not happen again?

Ziyambi Ziymabi reportedly responded by saying the state was conducting an investigation on the ladies being part of a demo in clear violation of the COVID-19 lockdown restrictions.

When Mwonzora asked Ziyambi Ziyambi if the state was not concerned about the abduction, Ziyambi emphasised that the ladies broke the law and they were investigating that.
