UEFA Champions League: Tinotenda Kadewere's Lyon Beat Juventus

French giants, Olympique Lyonnais, commonly referred to as simply Lyon on Wednesday night put in a hugely impressive display to secure a 1-0 win and become just the second team to keep a clean sheet against Juventus all season.

Despite missing their talisman in Depay, Lyon played with intensity and confidence which enabled them to take the lead in the first half when Tousart steered home Auoar’s neat cross. From there they could have doubled their lead through Toko Ekambi, but the second half was a different affair.

The hosts sat back and attempted to absorb the inevitable Juventus pressure: the away side struggled to create many clear cut chances but could have equalised when Dybala slammed wide from close range.
