Facebook Cancels Global Marketing Summit Because The Coronavirus Outbreak

Facebook has cancelled its global San Francisco Marketing Summit owing to the coronavirus outbreak, Seeking Alpha reports.

A Facebook spokesperson speaking about the summit said:

Out of an abundance of caution, we cancelled our Global Marketing Summit due to evolving public health risks related to coronavirus.

Other cancelled or postponed events include the:

1. Mobile world congress
2. The London Metal Exchange’s annual Hong Kong Gathering
3. The Rugby union sevens tournaments in Hong Kong and Singapore
