An opinionist in the Daily News had lamented the state of the nation under the current administration. The columnist opined how the government seem to be divorced from reality on Zimbabwe when it comes to governance.
These people have lost touch with reality and have no clue what it is like living in the rural areas where money and food are so scarce.
Good leadership skills have been absent for the past 39 years and the current state of this once-highly productive country proves it.

Ian Smith was so right when in 1979 he tried to warn those British ministers that the country would end up in chaos under the rule of the current leadership.No time for recrimination — time to help each other to try and overcome the effects of this ugly drought. The people need better leadership for them to improve their lives.
This comes at a time when the economy has taken a turn for the worst with prices for basic good soaring beyond the reach of many and wages and salaries remaining stagnant despite the obvious inflation in some case.
