CAPS United President Reaffirmed Lloyd Chitembwe Is Still Head Coach

CAPS United President, Farai Jere, has reaffirmed that Lloyd Chitembwe is still the head coach. Jere also revealed thatChitembwe was missing during ZPC Kariba match over the weekend due to illness.

This was revealed at a press conference held this afternoon. Jere allayed fears which had befallen Kepekepe fans over the possibility that Chitembwe had left the club.

Chitembwe was again missing from the bench as the Green Machine lost to ZPC Kariba by 1 goal to nil in a Castle Lager Premier League match played at Nyamhunga Stadium in Kariba on Saturday.

Makepekepe technical advisor, Nelson Matongorere, was in charge of the team following Chitembwe’s alleged clash with club vice-president Nhamo Tutisani over team selection several days ago.

Caps United fans reportedly prevented Matongorere from doing his post-match media duties as they demanded the return of Chitembwe.
