Various accounts on Twitter have lamented how prices have gone up these past few days with a few posting pictures of exorbitant prices from leading retailers.
We all want prices to come down. There has been a spirited effort to convince us that prices are coming down. You don’t use a Special at a Wholesale to prove that, you look at basics in a supermarket. On Monday tissue paper was $506 for a pack of 18 X 4. This evening it is on $775 pic.twitter.com/ZqCqdOwsCn

Now as I said in my earlier post, when looking at price movement you look at a basket of basics used by an average family. I love Kapenta fish & that is a staple for all domestic workers. I bought it on Monday for $60 at OK Mart. Today the same 1kg pack is retailing at $104 at Ok pic.twitter.com/lcL5gXCJhe

Giant wholesaler Mahomed Mussa slashing prices. This is information citizens must have so that they don’t get robbed by the retailers who are even raising prices! Will the influencers; goat breeders, advocates, & lawyers speak of it? @ZctuZimbabwe pic.twitter.com/2kz0PzO2Tg
