Tendai Biti, Welshman Ncube & Lynnette Karenyi Kore New MDC VPs

The just ended MDC Elective Congress that was held in Gweru elected the following for the post of party vice president:

• Welshman Ncube,
• Tendai Biti,
• Lynette Kore

Kore pipped her female counterparts (Tracy Mutinhiri, Paurina Mpariwa, Lynette Karenyi Kore) in the woman vice president category.

The vice president category had seven contestants who were all nominated during the Congress nomination process. Former party vice presidents, Elias Mudzuri and Morgen Komichi failed to retain their posts.
