Ngezi Platinum Stars Fires 3 Players For Misconduct

Ngezi Platinum Stars has reportedly sacked three players following their refusal to turn up for training after a pay dispute with the club.

The trio has been named as team captain Liberty Chakoroma, Xolisani Moyo and Madziva Madziva.

They were dismissed for misconduct after they snubbed a training session last week.

One of the trio spoke to H-Metro on condition of anonymity and confirmed the development. Said the player:

Yes, it happened and they fired us. But we are supposed to have a meeting with the board tomorrow, (today).

So that we know the way forward and we will know what to do after the meeting.

When contacted for comment, the club Chairman Jeremiah Getiseni professed ignorance over the whole saga.
