Mwonzora Tells War Vets To Stay Out Of MDC Business
MDC secretary-general Douglas Mwonzora said that war veterans should not stick their noses into his party’s business affairs. Said Mwonzora:
The war veterans and their party should have nothing to do with the MDC congress. It is an internal affair which will be decided only by the MDC members themselves.
War veterans have been making a lot of noise in recent days as the MDC elective Congress draws near.
They have made it clear that they do not now want party president Nelson Chamisa to continue at the helm. They prefer a more “mature” leader, suspected to be Mwonzora or co-vice president Elias Mudzuri.
