In an interview on ZiFM Stereo on Monday evening, MDC secretary general Douglas Mwonzora said he can get more votes than his party’s current leader Nelson Chamisa did in the July 2018 elections.
Chamisa garnered 2,147,437 against Mnangagwa’s 2,460,463. Asked by Larry Kwirirayi if he believes he can get more votes if he runs as the MDC presidential candidate in 2023, Mwonzora said:
Yes I think so.
