Horoya FC Coach Amadou Bangoura was bullish of his team’s chances to upset Zimbabwe champions FC Platinum in a Total CAF Champions League match to be played in Bulawayo over the weekend.
The Guineans arrived in the country on Saturday set their base in Harare and later flew to Bulawayo on Wednesday morning. In an interview with The Chronicle Bangoura said:
Our stay in Zimbabwe has been good and we are enjoying it. However, we know that this game is important to both teams and without disrespecting FC Platinum, we are here for three points.
Both FC Platinum and Horoya FC are tied on one point apiece. In the last round of matches, FC Platinum lost by 2-0 to Esperance of Tunisia while Horoya were beaten 3-0 by South African giants Orlando Pirates.
