Chicken Pox Strikes Knowledge Musona, Warriors Captain Sidelined As KSC Lokeren Seeks To Avoid The Chop

Belgian-based Warriors striker Knowledge Musona was diagnosed with chicken pox which is expected to keep him on the sidelines for a couple of weeks.

Musona joined Belgian minnows KSC Lokeren on loan from Anderlecht during the current January transfer window.

Lokeren manager Glen De Boeck told the Belgian publication Walfoot that:

He’s [Musona] been sick since this week and it looks like he’s been suffering from chickenpox, so it’ll be out for a few weeks.

But anyway, one player cannot make a difference in our struggle for survival.

KSC Lokeren is currently at the bottom of the 16-club Belgian top flight. The club was threshed 4-1 by AS Eupen a fortnight ago.

Reports from Belgium indicate that Lokeren, who anchor the log-standings with 14 points from 23 games, paid a loan fee of around € 500000 for Musona’s move which will run until June 30.
