In an interview with 263Chat today, Zanu-PF youth league Manicaland Province chairperson Tawanda Mukodza said they will be marching to commemorate President Mnangagwa’s escape after he was dismissed from Government last year.
On Saturday, Zanu-PF youths will march from Government complex to Forbes Border Post. Said Mukodza:
The march is a brainchild of the youth league where we will be commemorating the escape made by his Excellency, last year through the Forbes Border post. So we are inviting everyone to come in support of this day, which is belated anyway as the president left the country on the 8th of November but due to other commitments, we were unable to commemorate on the actual day.
Mnangagwa left Zimbabwe through Forbes Border post on his way to South Africa before his return to take over power in both government and Zanu-PF.
