Zanu-PF secretary for legal affairs Munyaradzi Paul Mangwana has applauded former president Robert Mugabe for sending his daughter Bona to represent him at the inauguration of President Emmerson Mnangagwa. Mangwana said the party was going to take this into account when considering the request by the war veterans to remove Mugabe’s name from Robert Gabriel Mugabe International Airport. Said Mangwana,
It is gratifying. That is the kind of message Zimbabwe has been expecting. You heard the applause, we expect that as our founding President, he must occupy that respectable place and today, he behaved just exactly as we expected.
