Mnangagwa To Win By 73%, Zanu-PF To Get 180 Seats In Parliament: Free and Fair Foundation Survey

ZBC News reports that a poll by an NGO, Free and Fair Foundation has revealed that Zanu-PF presidential candidate Emmerson Mnangagwa will get 73% of the total votes in the presidential election.

Free and Fair Foundation also concluded that Zanu-PF will win  180 of the 210 Parliamentary seats. Speaking at the organisation’s headquarters in Harare Thursday, Executive Director of Free and Fair Foundation, Mr Gabriel Chaibva dismissed surveys that have concluded there will a run-off by saying Mnangagwa will win the election. Said Chaibva:

The economic programmes and policies implemented by President Mnangagwa and what he has done in the past six months will propel him to victory come the 30th of July. Zanu PF will get 73% in the presidential elections and 180 seats in the National Assembly elections

The survey also revealed there has been equitable coverage of political parties by media and that freedom of expression has also been given to contesting parties in this year’s election.

  1. I have the same estimation. More than 70 percent of votes for Ed. The problem with afrobarometer is that their sampling tends to be limited to urban areas and growthpoints. Vaneusimbe hwekupinda deep mumapfanya and that is how they end up underestimating Ed.

  2. I don’t think these pollsters have any idea what will happened
    This election is not about personalities, parties or anything to do with the past. This is about a very patient, determined and unforgiving people who have waited 38 years to change government s in 1980, and 2000 they are going to show you a few things you don’t know 😂😂😂
