Proportional Representation legislator for Matebeleland South Priscilla Misihairabwi-Mushonga filed the nomination papers for MDC-T leader Dr Thokozani Khupe at the Nomination Court held at the High Court today. The vocal Misihairabwi-Mushonga also took the opportunity to protest against the poor treatment of Khupe at the Supreme Court by youths aligned to her rival Nelson Chamisa. Youths from the party insulted Khupe and called her derogatory names including “Hure” meaning “Prostitute.”

Mushonga was wearing a hoodie inscribed with the “Hure” at the back while at the front it said “#Me Too.” Misihairabwi-Mushonga said that women in politics are no longer afraid to be called “prostitutes”

Misihairabwi-Mushonga who is the chief election agent for Khupe is no stranger to controversy after encouraging all women to go pantyless on election day. She said that this will help to remind them to vote the right way and to vote for female candidates.

  1. Well it is democracy and KHUPE was treated badly wafawanaka but Tsvangirai made a very bad mistake why did he not nominate Chamisa in the presence of both Mudzuri and Khupe that departure to just nominate Chamisa when there were duly elected deputies makes a mockery of the election process I can loosely say it’s worse than rigging it totally disregards people as worthless or second grade citizens and very careless In this modern day to treat women as irrevannt
