Mnangagwa Consoles Family Whose 2-Year-Old Child Was Abducted, Murdered In Suspected Political Violence

President Emmerson has sent a condolence message to the Lumbe family after their two-year-old child Professor was abducted and killed in a case of suspected political violence. Professor’s father Rambai Lunge defected from Zanu-PF and is now the Mazowe North parliamentary candidate for Joice Mujuru’s National People’s Party (NPP). Said Mnangagwa,

I am shocked and appalled by the horrific murder of two-year-old Professor Lumbe this weekend in Glendale. My sympathy, thoughts and prayers are with Professor’s parents, Rambai and Nomatter, and the entire family in this difficult time.

Mnangagwa urged Zimbabweans to shun violence ahead of the July 30 harmonised elections.
