Mobile network operator (MNO) Econet Wireless Zimbabwe has introduced a new service called My Web Self-Care, which will allow subscribers to access their call history as well as their data usage from any place as long as they have internet access. The service which is likely to be welcomed by many subscribers who at some point or another have complained of their data “disappearing” without their knowledge.
To use the service, subscribers do NOT need to visit an Econet shop or agent. Instead, all they have to do is to register their details on

The registration process also includes a verification code which will be sent via SMS to prevent/minimise the chances of unauthorised people registering lines that do not belong to them, without the consent or knowledge of the owner. When registration is done, the subscriber can just log in to view their records, although, at the moment, this is limited to 6 months only.
However, the MNO warns:
1.The information requested is for the legally contracted owner of the mobile line. The requested information is confidential. The information you have inquired is for reference only, not to be used for official transactions.
2.The customer shall be responsible for the confidential information and ECONET WIRELESS shall not be liable for any claims, losses, or damages arising from the unauthorised disclosure of such information to any third party.
3.Only the last 6 months of information is available.

I tried to buy daily data using Ecocash but it was unsuccessful. I bought airtime and changed a $1 to daily data only to have that failed Ecocash transfer approved including the one I bought through *143#Kindly reverse the Ecocash $1 to 0772230972
the services are good but there is a need to enable wifi bundles to work on our router even we are at our homes because as for me i am not enjoying data double bundle as it need to be nearer econet shops
You entered my phone numttber with 9 digits but you on trying trying to sign up you say number should be a 9 digit number
I bought my Sim Card from econet agents but the problem is overwhelm ,it is refusing to operate normally when dialing using CODES eg *121#,*151*1*1*……..# .etc everything denied except calls bt buy airtime using ecocash app only
l tried to look for help from Econet shops but nothing changed at all

EcoCash numbers in Zim usually start with 0+772+6 digits. At least my friend’s does. But to send money via World Remit they say to add only 9 digits not including country code 263. I’m assuming I just drop the 0 in front of the 772 number. Is that right?
