Video: Temba Mliswa says Mugabe will appoint Edna Madzongwe as VP, not Grace
In an interview on Capitalk FM, independent legislator for Norton Temba Mliswa claimed that President Robert Mugabe was not going to appoint his wife Grace Mugabe as Vice President because he was worried about the optics heading into an election year. Mliswa claimed that Mugabe was going to appoint Senate President Edna Madzongwe instead. Madzongwe is a supposedly safe choice and will not cause any waves, allowing Mugabe to do as he please after the 2018 elections.
