Jonathan Moyo Blames ZBC For Being Used By "Judas Iscariot" to spark Economic Crisis

Minister of Higher and Tertiary Education Professor Jonathan Moyo has blamed state-owned national broadcaster ZBC for working in cahoots with “economic saboteurs” to spark panic buying and the shortage of basic commodities. Moyo alleges that the state broadcaster together with social media was responsible for the run on United States Dollars which resultant in bond notes losing value and precipitating panic.

Moyo does not name the “Judas Iscariots” who he claims were behind the whole plot. However, during the time in question, Moyo’s erstwhile ally turned mortal enemy Vice President Emmerson Mnangagwa was the acting President as President Mugabe was away in New York for a United Nations General Assembly meeting. This has resulted in some speculating that Mnangagwa is the one being blamed for the alleged sabotage.
