Government should just put a very strong to speeding buses they are the main culprits as we speak along that road its pathetic the roads are contributing to the carnage but as people we should know the state of our roads and exercise caution. Trucks should be banned from using that road at night completely any offenders should be heavily punished
COMMENT if trucks are not supposed to travel at night would we cope with the high volumes of traffic during the day, buses are overspeeding, period
its quite unfortunate that we yet lost so many lives again, lets admit the state of our roads an issue our respective authorities have failed to give priority, but on the other hand as concerned citizens may we sincerely adjust accordingly. If you have ever used these buses to joburg or beitbridge you will agree with me that bus drivers are the worst culprits for not dipping lights and traveling at excessive speeds…. these bus drivers 90% of them are real demons, its just by the grace of god that we survive most of these trips they are scaring. You voice your concerns and you risk even being thrown out of the bus by your own fellow passengers people seem to like speed and lots of noise from the radio, even if the bus develops any mechanical problem the driver wont hear anything till you run into such a fatality. A lesson to you truck drivers out their using that road please for your own safety stop using that road at night because you risk being charged for the offence that you didnt commit. im not taking any sides here but a conclusion have already been reached that the truck driver was wrong, who was the witness standing by the side of the road or the passenger in this case sitting at a strategic position that to have the right judgement that the truck driver encrotched on to the on coming lane… may god help us. Bus company owners please train you staff or you risk losing your million worth investment…bus drivers are the real culprits because of excessive speeds please police may you set up secret cameras in the highway the you can move around this will help quite a lot
So many lives lost on zim roads because of the sad state of road infrastructure.
