Women's league wants Mphoko out as Mnangwagwa now "untouchable"

Zanu PF‘s Women’s League is continuing its push for a woman to join the three member presididum, by demanding that one of the vice presidents should be a woman.  The likely target is Phelekezela Mphoko as Emmerson Mnangagwa is now considered to be “untouchable.”

A Women’s League source reportedly told New Zimbabwe that:

The tide has turned against Mphoko as he will be replaced by Eunice Sandi Moyo.

The First Lady is content with her position of Secretary because she already runs the show by virtue of being the wife of the President; that is why they want to elevate Sandi Moyo.

Should Mugabe endorse the move, then Mphoko is finished as the Mnangagwa’s faction has now taken root in the party.

Kasukuwere might brag that he fears no one but the man is living in fear due to these internal fights and has since beefed up his security.
