Khupe urges supporters not to be intimidated by Zanu PF officials who are reportedly denying them donated food
Addressing hundreds of party supporters at Rudhaka Stadium in Marondera on Saturday, MDC-T deputy president, Thokozani Khupe encouraged opposition supporters not to be intimidated by Zanu PF officials who are reportedly denying them donated food.
She said,
The food aid is coming from the EU and the UN and it should be distributed fairly and in a non-partisan manner. It is not Zanu PF food. So, you have a right to demand that food. Go and get that food.
FeedbackHer call comes amid reports that last week, Prisca Mupfumira, the social welfare minister, told Zanu PF supporters at a campaign rally in Norton that food aid will only be availed to registered ruling party members.
