Ashok Chakravarti makes a good effort but diplomatically misfired effort and quite an aborted argument. Yes the US sanctions have hurt the defenceless peaceloving Zimbabweans as equally as the Zimbabwe government has hurt its own peaceloving citizens by denying them the true democratic choice in leadership since the second decade after independence. This will continue as long as my great friend Ashok continues his misfired debates.
Godfrey Chikowore is offside. He must understand that ZIDERA was triggered by our land reform, not human rights. Why was there no ZIDERA when there was Gukurahundi in Zim? Are human rights in Zim only linked to white or Boer land rights?
