Mliswa Ready to Meet Kembo Mohadi In Court Over “Defamatory” Tweet

Outspoken Norton legislator Temba Mliswa has said he ready to meet Vice President Kembo Mohadi in court over a defamatory tweet.

Mohadi had ordered Mliswa to retract allegations he posted on his Twitter account alleging that he (Mohadi) is corrupt and President Mnangagwa must fire him. Mohadi gave Mliswa 24 hours. Mliswa made the remarks in a tweet reacting to press statement by the Chief Secretary to the President and Cabinet, Dr Misheck Sibanda, in which President Mnangagwa accepted the resignation of commissioners to the Zimbabwe Anti-Corruption Commission. However in a tweet on Sunday Mliswa revealed he had received Mohadi’s letter asking for the retraction. He said there is no going back and that he is ready to meet Mohadi in court. Said Mliswa:

Finally I received the letter & will respond accordingly. However there’s no going back & we’ll meet in court!
