ZIFA president Philip Chiyangwa has submitted his name for The Council of Southern Africa Football Associations (COSAFA) presidency where he will battle it out with incumbent Suketu Patel and South African Football Association president Danny Jordaan.
Chiyangwa has also submitted his name for the post of Vice-President along with Advocate Salemane Phafane from Lesotho and Frans Mbidi of Namibia. COSAFA will hold its Annual General Meeting on Saturday, December 17 at Sun City in South Africa where elections will be held to decide the positions of President, Vice-President and for the Executive Committee for the next five years.
A media briefing will be held following the COSAFA AGM where the results of the elections will be announced on Saturday.
