Zimbabwean Born and American based Movie star, Danai Gurira has roped in Letitia Wright her Play called The Convert. Wright and Gurira shared the stage in the famous Blank Panther movie.
Wright plays Jekesai/Ester, a Shona-speaking girl rescued from a forced marriage by a black Catholic teacher who biblically rechristens her Ester.
The Convert has been performed in Zimbabwe in 2013, at Harare’s Prince Edward School.
