Musician Feli Nandi Given Toyota Fortuner, US$50,000 By Chivayo

Musician Felistus Chipendo, better known as Feli Nandi, is the latest artist to receive a car and cash from Wicknell Chivayo.

In a post on social media on Friday, 1 May, Chivayo said he had given the singer a new 2026 Toyota Fortuner 2.4 GD6 and US$50,000 in cash.

He described the multi-award-winning singer, actress and businesswoman as having used her talent to promote African culture through music, fashion and enterprise.

“You are a musical GENIUS and songstress of our time who continues to remind me of yesteryear Zimbabwean musicians such as CHIWONISO MARAIRE, touching our souls with an Afro-fusion sound that is DEEPLY AFRICAN… Your award-winning songs such as ‘Muti Watemwa’, ‘Ndobatirira’ and ‘Mubayei’ are my personal favourites and even my BELOVED WIFE and her ENTIRE FAMILY adore your music,” wrote Chivayo.

“They all unanimously agree that there is ABSOLUTELY NO ONE more deserving of this recognition today than this INCREDIBLE woman! Your songs teach, INSPIRE and HEAL. Above all, they remind us of the POWER and BEAUTY of who we are as Africans!”

Chivayo said Feli Nandi had become an authentic African inspiration through her work selling African-inspired clothing and serving traditional African food at her restaurant, Kwa Nandi.

He added that the musician promotes African culture through her music and fashion, and acts as a role model for young women in Zimbabwe.

“You have broken the stereotype, you have created EMPLOYMENT, you have promoted AFRICAN BEAUTY, and you have created a LEGACY for yourself. You deserve to be celebrated in the most MEMORABLE way,” Chivayo said.

“In recognition of your HARD WORK and dedication towards promoting African culture through your music, fashion and cuisine, I say a BIG CONGRATULATIONS to you.

“Please go and see VICTOR at Exquisite Motors and collect your BRAND SPANKING NEW 2026 Toyota Fortuner 2.4 GD6, which has been FULLY PAID FOR and is READY FOR COLLECTION.
