Zimbabweans To March To State House, Saturday 18 November. To Demand Mugabe Resignation

Following the call by the War Veterans, a march to the State House tomorrow (18 November 2017), has been organised. Thousands are expected to march tomorrow in solidarity with the military intervention and to call for President Mugabe to step down.

The war veterans gave Mugabe an ultimatum to resign today (17 November) or face unspecified consequences tomorrow.

8 of the 10 Zanu-PF provinces have passed resolutions, asking the president to step down from the leadership of the country and party.

The March will start from Zimbabwe Grounds in Highfields (8AM) as well 4th street bus terminus in the Harare CBD (9AM)

 

Several political leaders have joined in the calls for the march, amoung them Dumiso Dabengwa of ZAPU, Fadzayi MahereĀ andĀ  Pastor Evan Mawarire.

Other marches are also reportedly happening around with confirmed ones in the UK.
