Delta Bus En Route To Zimbabwe In Head-On Collision In Limpopo, Both Drivers Killed

A Delta passenger bus travelling to Zimbabwe was involved in a fatal head-on collision with an Isuzu heavy vehicle on the N1-29 near Musekene in Limpopo Province, South Africa, on Christmas Day.

The Limpopo Department of Transport and Community Safety stated that the crash occurred around 8:30 AM on 25 December, between Masekwa Bricks and Masekene Garage in the Vhembe District.

According to the department, the accident happened when the Isuzu driver overtook on a barrier line and collided head-on with the oncoming Delta bus.

Both male drivers were killed on impact. Two bus passengers suffered serious injuries, while four others were critically injured.
