FC Platinum Appoint Joel Luphahla As New Head Coach

FC Platinum have appointed Joel Luphahla as their new head coach, with Collen Nikisi taking up the role of General Manager.

Luphahla’s arrival comes less than 24 hours after his departure from Simba Bhora. He replaces Norman Mapeza, who joined Scottland.

In a statement released on Wednesday, 3 December, FC Platinum described Luphahla as a highly respected figure in Zimbabwean football.

The club said he brings accredited coaching qualifications, national team experience, and a strong commitment to player development.

Luphahla’s leadership, they added, is expected to cultivate a competitive, disciplined, and community-focused football culture.

FC Platinum said the appointments of both Nikisi and Luphahla align with the club’s wider vision of establishing an organisation that is professionally run, ambitious on the pitch, and firmly rooted in its community.
